FAQ
Here are the answers to some of our frequently asked questions:
I'm interested, how do I get started? Contact us and we will arrange a mutually convenient time to discuss your requirements.
Do you supply posters for me to publicise the DVD? Yes. We take your initial images and company logo and produce an appropriate poster to publise the event DVD.
How will the review process work? Where appropriate we provide a password-protected client extranet site for your project to aid in you reviewing the material.
How do we ensure that we are happy with the end result? RollOut Media's primarily focus is quality and customer satisfaction. We aim to exceed our customers expectationsand take all possible steps to ensure you are completely satisfied.
How long will it take to complete the production once filming has finished? Depending on the length of your event and the amount being filmed, in some situations we can offer a same-day turn-around where we feel it's possible to meet our quality control and quantity required. For other events we typically provide a 14 or 30 day service depending on the size of your production.
What is the best way to light the event for filming? You should aim for a fairly even light across the stage or room where the event is taking place. A mixture of light intensities, such as one side of a room have windows with sunlight and the other walls with no windows, will cause strong contrasts and will leave the performers or attendees with dark or featureless faces and won't be captured as clearly as they possibly could.
How would you capture the sound? For teaching and conference events we aim to use a radio microphone on the main presenter/instructor. Where possible we also take a feed from the sound/mixing desk.
Is it possible to do a same-day edit? In most situations, Yes. It's primarily constrainted by how much time is available between the last filming point and the end of your event.
Can we produce a promotional video of the event? Yes we can produce this, and we can also host this for you so you can simply link to it from your website.
